What We Leave Behind

Rose over at The Center of My Self recently wrote a great post about the impact we have on people we’ve touched in our lives — what they remember about us, what we teach them, etc.

It’s a great and thoughtful post, but as I read on she talked about someone who had left behind letters and journals and what that meant to her. I found it to be touching and it states so well what I think we all feel.

Go check out What We Leave Behind, by Rose.

Sabrina Ward Harrison, a lovely and carefree artist, has some new card sets out. Definitely worth check out over at PAPAYA.

Also, I have a giveaway coming up. I was sent a set of cards that are WONDERFUL and you’ll love them. I’ll be announcing the giveaway very soon. (I’ve had a terrible, terrible virus and was down for nearly a week so I’m racing to catch up.)

Can’t wait to tell you what’s in your future. WOOT!

In Ohio, Fairland Elementary has created a small post office inside their school. Modeled like a real post office (as near as possible) it is operated by kids and each classroom and grade has their own address.

What an awesome way to teach kids about letter writing!

You can read the story at the Ironton Tribune.
