I’m bitter and angry that I’m not living in Vancouver right now. Just for a week, maybe a month or so. Why oh why?

And you’re probably asking, “Why oh why does Wendy want to live in Vancouver all of a sudden?”

It’s because of Assembly of Text and their store. Not only do they have really great stationery and STUFF, but they also have a button-making station at their store and a monthly letter writing club.

I think it should be mandatory that all cities have a cool shop like this. If you’ve ever been to this store or one like it, leave us all a note and tell us about your grand adventures!

Wow, extremely cool! Did you notice they have a letter writing club??

I guess folks get together to write letters en masse – an interesting concept, as I really enjoy the solitude of letter-writing, but I’m tickled that they’re promoting letters.

*drool* We have the Paper Source in uptown Minneapolis (at a new location, since someone drove through the front window). http://www.paper-source.com/cgi-bin/paper/index.html

We also just got Papyrus at the Mall of America, which is very spendy, but worth going into to drool:). http://www.papyrusonline.com/

Okay, you guys just have to rub it in don’t you.

You want to cry? I’ll make you cry… the only place I have to buy stationery in my town is Wal-Mart. Now THAT is sad!

The good news is I have the Internet. YOU CAN’T KEEP ME DOWN! :D

Ooooo… I love that shop! Now there’s something that could do well in this economic environment. I’m getting a bit tired of having people scream at me all day in my current position…. maybe I can start something like Regional Assembly….there is even a staid old stationery store downtown that could be convinced to funk up and get 21 century… ooooo… this will give me something to think on today. Thank you!
